The Descalzo Family Toy Drive is in support of Citrus Health Network, Inc. who in 2019, became the Community Based Care Lead Agency for Child Welfare in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties managing foster care and related services through its Citrus Family Care Network division.
Citrus Health Newtwork and their volunteers dedicate their time to the planning and execution of the toy drive that will distribute gifts to the children in the Miami-Dade and Monroe counties foster care system.
Our 2025 Goal: Collecting 1,000+ Toys
As we do every year, we are collecting for all ages but we try and focus on the older and often forgotten children in the 14-17 year old age group.
Last year, thanks to your generosity, we were able to collect 615 toys for foster children and raise Thousands of Dollars for the "Aging Out" program.
